Just started walking in April and started doing 5K walk runs in May, I really like this. After 3 months I am stuck at a 20 minute mile walk. No matter if i jog or walk it takes me 20 minutes to go one mile. I want to know if this time will ever get better and how can i make it better..
Also: I find my self wanting to run occasionally when my walk starts to get borring, is this normal??
I have bad knees and doctor said walking and riding a bike will help my knees and it has. I was told that running is bad for my knees and walking is best.. I guess i'm just getting bored with walking no matter how creative i try to be, i bore easily..
Any advice??
